刘玉亭，男，汉族，1956年11月出生，河南洛宁人，1982年11月加入中国共产党，1973年4月参加工作，中国社会科学院研究生院毕业，法学硕士。现任中共第十八届中央候补委员，国家工商行政管理总局党组副书记、副局长。

Liu Yuting, Han nationality, was born in November in 1956 in Luoning, Henan. He joined the Chinese Communist Party in November 1982. He started his career in April 1973 and obtained his master’s degree in law from the Graduate School of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS). He is an alternate member of the 18th Central CPC Committee, currently serving as Deputy Secretary of the Leading Party Group and Vice Minister of the State Administration for Industry & Commerce (SAIC).

May 2003 till present: Member, Deputy Secretary (appointed in November 2007) of the Leading Party Group and Vice Minister, SAIC, overseeing the Business Registration Bureau (Foreign-invested Enterprises Registration Bureau), Enterprise Supervision and Regulation Bureau, HR Department and the Retired Leaders Affairs Office. He concurrently serves as Secretary of Party Work Committee of the Organization.

May 1987-May 2003: Staff, Principal Staff Member, Secretariat; Deputy Director, Director of the Meeting Team, First Secretariat; Deputy Director General, Third Secretariat; Deputy Director General, Second Secretariat and Secretary to former Vice Premier Wu Yi, the General Office of the State Council.
