澳大利亞維多利亞州州總理新聞秘書兼中國政策顧問

梅烝,澳大利亞維多利亞州州長丹尼爾·安德魯閣下(Hon Daniel Andrews MP)高級顧問。澳大利亞澳華社區議會執行委員。澳大利亞維多利亞大學孔子商務學院顧問。

梅烝擁有在中國和澳大利亞兩國公共和私營部門十五年的豐富工作經驗。他是維多利亞州州長對華關係方面的重要顧問,而中國則是維多利亞州最重要的經貿合作夥伴。

梅烝在維多利亞州新《中國戰略》的編寫過程中發揮了關鍵作用,該戰略是維多利亞州政府2016年發布的整體政府對華政策。該戰略使得維多利亞州和中國多個部委間達成了一系列具有創造性的合作協定,包括與中國文化部,教育部,國家發展和改革委員會,國務院國有資產監督管理委員會的多個合作項目。

他參與了維多利亞州爭取澳大利亞日本商業合作委員會第五十六屆年會主辦權的工作,該會議於2016年10月在墨爾本成功舉行。梅烝參與了維多利亞州爭取舉辦博鰲亞洲論壇墨爾本會議的工作,該會議於2016年12月在墨爾本成功召開。他還參與了維多利亞州爭取舉辦亞洲協會亞洲21青年領袖峰會的工作,該會議將於2017年11月底在墨爾本開幕。梅烝啟動了墨爾本競爭2018年香港“設計營商周”夥伴合作城市的工作,香港政府在2017年5月正式宣布選定墨爾本進行合作。

梅烝參加了維多利亞州—四川省友好省州關係的建立,這是維多利亞州在全世界範圍內達成的第四個此類協定,也是維多利亞州自1994年來首個達成的此類協定。他參與了創建維多利亞江蘇研究創新中心的工作,該中心成為了中國和澳大利亞歷史上的首個聯合技術轉型合作平台。他還聯合發起了重走淘金路這一從南澳大利亞州羅布市到墨爾本的徒步行走項目紀念華人移民歷史,該項目使得維多利亞州州長在2017年5月首次向歷史上遭受不公正待遇的華裔移民作出了正式道歉。

梅烝2016年作為維多利亞州訪日官方代表團的成員,赴東京參加了州政府慶祝在日本設立正式代表處40周年的紀念活動。他也參加了中國總理與澳大利亞總理出席的第二屆中澳省州負責人論壇。並於2017年5月14日參加了“一帶一路”國際合作高峰論壇。

梅烝畢業于RMIT大學,獲得社會科學碩士學位。

 

Mr. Marty Mei, Press Secretary to Premier, State Government of Victoria, Australia

Marty Mei is senior adviser to the Victorian Premier, Daniel Andrews MP. He is also an Executive Member of the Chinese Community Council of Australia, the peak community organisation representing Australia’s Chinese community. Advisory Board Member of the Victoria Business Confucius Institute at Victoria University.

Marty has worked in China and Australia for over 15 years with extensive experience in both public and private sectors. He serves as the key advisor to the premier on Victoria’s relationship with China, which is the most important economic and trade partner for the state.

He played a key role in the development of Victoria's New China Strategy, a whole-of-government China engagement policy released in 2016. The strategy led to a number of ground-breaking collaboration initiatives between Victoria and Chinese ministries including Ministry of Culture, Ministry of Education, National Development and Reform Commission, State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council.

He worked on Victoria’s bid for Australia Japan Business Co-operations Committee’s 54th annual conference which was held in Melbourne in October 2016. He facilitated Victoria’s bid for Boao Forum for Asia Melbourne Conference which was held in December 2016. He contributed to Victoria’s bid for Asia Society Asia 21 Summit Melbourne which will be held in late November 2017. He initiated Melbourne’s bid to be the partner city for Hong Kong Business of Design Week 2018 which was announced in May 2017.

He took part in the establishment of Victoria-Sichuan Sister-State relationship, the fourth agreement reached by Victoria world-wide, and the first since 1994. He was involved in the creation of Jiangsu-Victoria Innovation Centre, the first joint technology transformation cooperation platform in the history of China and Australia. He also initiated the Great Walk from Robe to Melbourne project which resulted in a historical formal apology from Victorian Premier towards the Chinese Victorians in May 2017.

Marty was among the official delegation visited Tokyo to commemorate the 40th anniversary of Victorian Government representation in Japan. He attended the 2nd Australia-China State/Provincial Leaders Forum addressed by Chinese Premier and Australian Prime Minister. He also participated in the Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation on 14 May 2017.

Marty graduated from RMIT University with a Master of Social Science degree.
