Participation Guidelines

Rome, Italy

Rome is the capital of Italy and the country's largest and most populated municipality (central area), with over 2.7 million residents in 1,285.3 km2 (496.3 sq mi). It is located in the central-western portion of the Italian Peninsula, on the Tiber river within the Lazio region of Italy. The city has been one of history's most powerful and important centres, being the home of the emperor during the Roman Empire and the Italian government. The city also has a significant place in Christianity and is the present day home of the Roman Catholic Church and the site of the Vatican City, an independent city-state run by the Catholic Church. Due to this, the city has often been nicknamed "Caput Mundi" (Latin for "Capital of the World") and "The Eternal City". Also, Rome is widely regarded as one of the world's most beautiful ancient cities. Rome is a city rich in history, art and culture, and the varsity of its priceless monuments and treasures lead it to have many UNESCO World Heritage Sites.


Conference Venue

The Conference will be held at The Westin Excelsior Rome in central Rome, , participants are advised to book hotel rooms through their travel agency or hotel booking applications.

Trips between Airport and Hotels

The conference will NOT provide the transportation between the airport and hotel. Delegates should make their own travel arrangements.


Dress Code

Business attire is required for all meetings and banquets.


Working Languages of the Conference

Simultaneous interpretation will be available in English (channel 1) and Chinese (channel 2) during all sessions.



Euro is the local currency and 1 Euro is equivalent to7.5RMB. The exchange rate published by the bank on the day of event shall be adopted. Other internationally accepted currencies and travel checks can be exchanged at the hotel. Credit cards such as Visa, MasterCard, and American Express Card can be used at the hotel and most of the local shops.



In December, the average temperature in Rome is between 5℃ ~ 14℃,you’re advised to bring coat, jacket, etc.


Time Zone

Rome local time is 1 hours ahead of Greenwich Standard Time, 7 hours behind Beijing time.



Registration fees do not include insurance of any kind. It is strongly recommended that all delegates take out their own travel and medical insurance prior to coming to the conference. The policy should include loss of fees/deposit through cancellation of your participation in the conference, or through cancellation of the conference itself, loss of airfares for any reason, medical expenses, loss or damage to personal property, additional expenses and repatriation should travel arrangements have to be altered. Neither the Conference secretariat nor the Organising committee will take any responsibility for any participant failing to insure. Please speak to your travel agent or airline in regard to this matter.
