WORK EXPERIENCE
1973-1987      Joined the Royal Thai Police Department and was promoted to Lieutenant Colonel in
1987. His last position was Deputy Superintendent of the Policy and Planning
Sub-division, General Staff Division, Metropolitan Police Bureau   
1987-1994         Resigned from the Royal Thai Police Department and started his own business as Chairman of Shinawatra Computer and Communications Group     
Oct. 18, 1994 Resigned from the post of Chairman of the Board of Directors, Shinawatra Computer and
Communications Public Company Limited
Nov. 2, 1994 - Feb. 10, 1995       Received a royal appointment to the Post of Minister of Foreign Affairs
of Thailand     
May 28, 1995 - Nov. 18, 1996      Became the Palang Dharma Party Leader    
Jul. 20, 1995 - Aug. 14, 1996       Appointed Deputy Prime Minister in charge of traffic and transportation
in Bangkok

Invited by the "Lee Khun Yew Exchange Fellowship" as the first Thai and third fellow to enter the programme;
