Organizational and individual members attending the BFA 2014 Annual Conference hit a new high: in total, 361 member representatives from 115 Chinese and foreign member organizations attended the Annual Conference, among which there were 48 Chinese enterprises, 18 institutions from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan, and 49 multinational institutions. In comparison with the 231 representatives last year from 97 member organizations, the number of member organizations increased by 18.6%, and that of representatives, 56%, showing a notable increase in the number of members participating in the Forum. The top executivesfrom about 30 well-known Chinese and foreign member companies including the Korea International Trade Association(KITA), Chicago Mercantile Exchange, Mars, Zurich Insurance Company, PepsiCo, Toyota, NYK Group, Mitsubishi, Microsoft, Tata, Total, Nomura, Hanwha, Kumho, Electricite De France, CITIC, COSCO, China Life Insurance, Huarong, Chia Tai Group, Sinar Mas, Hony Capital, Broad Group, Hancock, and so on were invited to attend the Annual Conference and to participate in the discussion sessions.
The presidents/CEOs of the China region of some of the above companies, as well as a number of important member enterprises such as the Sequoia Capital, KPMG, Volkswagen, VIA, Ericsson, Maersk, Coca Cola, SK, Sumitomo Mitsui, Reignwood, and RGEI were also invited to participate in relevant round tables. The Forum members remained to be or were becoming more important sources of honorary guests and panelists of the Annual Conference.
This year's member reception remained the same as that of last year, i.e.  members may enter the special "members lounge" to have rest or meet guests by wearing a member pass. Diamond Members, Platinum Members, and other senior members enjoy priority in logistic services, booking of the meeting rooms in the members lounge and participation in closed-door meetings or special events. It is particularly worth mentioning that the members lounge this year was spacious and much better furnished than previous years, which was highly acclaimed by the members. The meeting rooms in the members lounge were almost fully booked, indicating that BFA members took the Annual Conference as a perfect platform for making concentrated communication and networking.
