Time:2014-06-24 09:32:14    Views:415337    Origin:Boao Forum for Asia

BFA is going to hold the 3rd Boao Forum For Asia Members’ Club Activity in 2014 on July 24, 2014 in Shanghai under the theme of “All Begin with the 28-km2 Patch—A Visit to the China (Shanghai) Pilot Free Trade Zone”. We have the honor to invite Mr. AI Baojun, Vice Mayor of Shanghai, to join this event and meet the participating BFA members.

The Shanghai Pilot FTZ was officially launched on September 29, 2013 following a green light given by the State Council on August 22 in the same year. As an area in China with a special set of opening up policies and a future of diverse development, the FTZ has drawn attention from enterprises at home and abroad as well as other regions since its concept first came into public sight. How will innovations take place in this 28-km2 test ground for China’s financial system reform? Where will these changes lead to? What new development plans will be rolled out down the road? How will the FTZ facilitate the development of enterprises? In quest of answers to these questions, the BFA Secretariat will organize a group of BFA members and partners to visit the FTZ,  listening to introduction of the zone by the Shanghai Vice Mayor Ai Baojun and the FTZ Administration Committee Deputy Director Dai Haibao, views and comments by Jiaotong University professor Pan Liying, and first-hand experience of resident enterprises in the zone. Members will also visit some enterprises and share their own experiences.

More than 80 delegates from BFA Member companies will join this activity.
