BFA Ulaanbaatar Conference Ended -- “Ulaanbaatar Night” Reception

On the evening of August 20, the “Ulaanbaatar Night” Reception was held in the Mayor’s Office of Ulaanbaatar. BAN Ki-moon, Chairman of Boao Forum for Asia, LI Baodong, Secretary-General of BFA, Damdin TSOGTBAATAR, MP, Minister for Foreign Affairs of Mongolia, Sainbuyan AMARSAIKHAN, Mayor of Ulaanbaatar, together with more than 200 guests attended the event.

Mr. BAN said in his speech that the Ulaanbaatar Conference of BFA is a new starting point for cooperation between Mongolia and BFA. Ulaanbaatar is not only the capital city of Mongolia, but also the economic center of the country. It connects the China-Mongolia-Russia Economic Corridor as a strategically important location. BFA will fulfill its commitment to promoting trade investment and economic cooperation to help Mongolia achieve industrial diversification.

Mayor AMARSAIKHAN thanked BFA for bringing new development opportunities to Mongolia and Ulaanbaatar. Ulaanbaatar hopes to attract more investment to improve its infrastructure and contribute to regional cooperation. It also expects to build a green and livable international city by drawing on the advanced experience in pollution control, traffic congestion and urban planning from the platform of BFA.

Dancers and acrobats from the Ulaanbaatar Art Troupe presented a wonderful performance to the audience. In the soft music and cheerful conversation, the Ulaanbaatar Conference draw to an end successfully.

Tonight will be the most beautiful night in Ulaanbaatar.
