Asia Poverty Reduction 2020 is amongst the flagship reports launched by the Boao Forum for Asia. It seeks to echo the United Nations 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, to conclude Asian countries’ experiences and accomplishments in the sphere of poverty alleviation and development, and to offer references in ending regional poverty, facilitating regional cooperation and improving people's well-being. Asia Poverty Reduction Report 2019 issued last year broke the limits of Asian subregion for the first time and conducted a relatively all-round analysis of the poverty reduction status of all Asian countries. Themed by "Asia Poverty in the Uncertainty of Globalisation and Public Health Crisis", Asia Poverty Reduction Report 2020 to be launched this year will further analyse the challenges Asian countries confront, as well as their achievements and experiences in poverty reduction. Besides, this report will also specify the progress of China's fight against poverty and the COVID-19 pandemic’s impact on poverty in Asia.

Asia Poverty Reduction Report 2020 is set to be officially released ahead of the end of this year.
